San Antonio No. 3 (Hybrid Trip)

WHEN
Feb 20 2022 - Feb 27 2022
WHERE
Kerrville, Texas
COST
$210.00
Let's finish San Antonio well my friends!  Prior to this trip Joël Malm and his family, who we are partnering with, are continuing to work on the cabins and getting some other workers and volunteers to get to a place where we can come in and finish the work that is to be done and help this ministry get off to a great start in March.

We began working on the cabins in November 2021 and returned for a second trip in December 2021. Through these two trips, God has continued to move in amazing ways to bless this project and all of those involved.  We are excited to have you join us in partnership to see it through to completion.

IMSO TRIP NOTES:
The $150 application fee for this trip will be applied to housing costs and then credited toward food costs for the week   We will be staying at the same house as the last two Kerrville trips. If we get more to join the team, the housing cost will be reduced, leaving more of a credit towards your food cost.  (For example, if our housing cost is $1,500 for the week and we expect 10 team members, but we are able to take a team of 12 with us, that reduces the cost from $150 to $125 per person and the $25 extra (150-125=25) will be applied to the grocery costs for this trip.)

Food cost for the week is $60 and will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the week.(This does not include food while traveling, nor eating out.)
  • Joël and the team will be providing lunch. We will cook breakfast and dinner each day with an estimated cost of $10 per day per person. Please bring a method of payment with you. We will split the actual cost across the team before we depart.
  • Amber and/or Bobbie Jo will help us come up with a meal plan that accommodates all dietary restrictions. We will order the food for the first part of the week online and we will assign a team member to pick it up the first night - unless it is too late for us to cook. Then will we punt the first dinner and we will begin with breakfast on Monday.
  • We will plan to leave for the job site at 8 am.
  • Tools and other logistics will be dealt with at our Zoom Team Meeting (TBA)

Trip No. 3 Task Lists:

  • plumbing
  • sinks
  • cabinets
  • paneling
  • trim
  • misc. fixes and finishes
Our goal is to complete the four cabins BEFORE MARCH 1, 2022.

We are thankful you are interested in joining us on this adventure God has called us to!

If you haven't met Joel and seen where this project started for us you can follow this link to follow this link to see the project site!

Note: Food costs are estimates.  So as not to be a burden to the church with unforeseen costs, at the end of the trip, should there be any outstanding cost for food for the week, we ask that each person help chip in to cover any additional food costs.  They will need to be paid by March 1st, so as to not hinder any administrative and accounting needs to close out the trip.
